In Kiel and Flensburg, Alexandra Kersten increases German and art for teaching at secondary schools. She came to Berlin Neukölln with her legal clerkship in 2004 and taught there at the Kepler School until 2011.
They have been used at the Heinz Brandt School in Berlin Weißensee since 2011. For them, projects such as “faint, fear, ecstasy” or participation in programs such as “cultural agents for creative schools in Berlin” and “arts open worlds” are not a means to an end, but help to rethink the school framework and allow creativity. The idea that school does not need short-term projects, but a permanent creative freedom to play, allows her to develop concepts for this in her job as specialist manager for cultural education at the Heinz-Brandt-School and among others with the JUKS Pankow or the KW Institute for KW Implement Institute for Contemporary Art.
